Description
Description
Ravensworth Regional Riesling is a dry Riesling fermented across concrete, ceramic and large oak.
Vessel variety is the defining feature of the 2025. Fruit was harvested early from several sites, Long Rail Gully and Nanima at Murrumbateman, Briar Ridge in the Hunter Valley and the home block at Ravensworth, hand-picked and processed with no bunches retained, then pressed to a mixture of Nico Velo concrete tulips, Stockinger foudre and Flowform ceramic eggs for fermentation at 18 to 20 degrees. Each vessel contributes a slightly different texture, which is the reason for using all three. The wine was racked and bottled with no fining and no filtration. This has become one of Bryan Martin's best-known bottlings.
Lemon, white flowers and wet stone, dry and linear with a subtle textural give through the middle. Serve at 10 degrees. It sits well beside sashimi, a chicken and herb salad, or fish tacos with lime.
