Description

Redbank King Valley La Piazza Pinot Gris is a crisp, savoury Pinot Gris from north-east Victoria.

Piazza is Italian for town square, a fitting word in a valley whose Italian settlers did so much to shape its wine culture and its love of Pinot Gris and Prosecco. Made in a crisp, fresh style, this wine shows nashi pear and orange blossom with a savoury edge. Soft acidity keeps it smooth, and it finishes clean and crunchy. At 13.5% alcohol it carries a little more weight than a typical Grigio, in keeping with the Gris style.

Serve chilled on a warm summer evening, with grilled prawns, pork and fennel sausages or a Thai beef salad.
