Rieslingfreak No.3 Clare Valley Riesling 2026

Rieslingfreak No.3 is a dry Clare Valley Riesling from the family vineyard at White Hut.

The Clare Valley runs north of Adelaide at altitude, where cold nights preserve the acidity that defines Australian dry Riesling, and the limestone and slate soils of its western side give the wine a firm, dry finish. John Hughes founded Rieslingfreak in 2009 to make nothing but Riesling, numbering each wine by style rather than name, and No.3 is the benchmark dry bottling from the family's own vineyard. The fruit is pressed gently, fermented cool in stainless steel and bottled without oak.

Serve at 8 degrees with oysters, ceviche or fresh goat's cheese. It will hold and develop for ten years or more.
