Rippon Mature Vine Pinot Noir 2022

Rippon Mature Vine Pinot Noir comes from a biodynamic vineyard on the shore of Lake Wanaka.

The Rippon vineyard runs down to the lake in Central Otago, and the water moderates what is otherwise a harsh continental climate, reducing frost risk and stretching the season. The vines are dry-farmed on schist and glacial soils and the estate has been certified biodynamic for years; the Mills family has farmed this land for four generations.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or mushroom dishes. It develops over a decade.
