Rippon Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Rippon Sauvignon Blanc is grown on the biodynamic lakeside vineyard at Wanaka in Central Otago.

Sauvignon Blanc is barely planted in Central Otago, where Pinot Noir dominates, which makes this unusual; the continental climate and schist soils give a tighter, more mineral wine than Marlborough's. The vineyard is dry-farmed and certified biodynamic, running down to the shore of Lake Wanaka.

Serve at 10 degrees with grilled fish, goat's cheese or green vegetables. Drink within four years.
