Description

Robert Stein Premium Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the family's Mudgee vineyards at altitude.

Cabernet needs a long season to ripen its tannins, and Mudgee's elevation stretches the autumn out, giving blackcurrant fruit with a firm, leafy structure. The Stein family has farmed here since 1976. Fermentation is in open vessels with maturation in French and American oak.

Serve at 17 degrees with roast lamb, beef or hard cheese. Drink over the next ten years.
