Description

Robert Stein Preservative Free Shiraz is made without added sulphur dioxide, from Mudgee fruit.

Making wine without preservative demands scrupulous cleanliness and fast handling, since the wine has no protection against oxidation or spoilage, and the result is meant to be drunk young and fresh. The Stein family's Mudgee vineyards sit at 450 metres in inland New South Wales. The wine is bottled soon after fermentation and is best kept cold.

Serve slightly cool at 15 degrees with barbecued meats or a simple pasta. Drink within a year or two, and keep it refrigerated.
