Robert Weil Kiedrich Gräfenberg Grosses Gewächs Riesling in magnum is the estate's dry flagship, from a site classified first class in 1867.

The Kiedrich Gräfenberg vineyard, the hill of the counts, has designated Robert Weil's finest wines since it was officially classified as Weinlage 1 Klasse in 1867. It is home to the estate's oldest vines, up to 80 years of age and mostly on their own rootstock, which is why Wilhelm Weil decided that his Grosses Gewächs should come from this site alone, even though he could release three from his single vineyards. Weil's stated aim has been to recreate the style and quality of the full-bodied dry wines the Rheingau made a century ago, when the region's finest Rieslings were the most expensive wines in the world. This is clearly a step above the Turmberg and Klosterberg, not necessarily more intense but finer and more complete, and it stands among the very best dry Rieslings of the Rheingau.

A wine to cellar, and in magnum it will run for two decades and more. Serve at 10-12°C with roast pork, smoked trout or a Riesling-friendly cheese board.
