Robert Weil Kiedrich Gräfenberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese is the estate's highest Prädikat, made in tiny quantity from individually selected shrivelled berries and bottled in 375ml.

Weil is among the most respected producers of Germany's sweetest Prädikat styles, and the Gräfenberg site at Kiedrich is where the estate's finest fruit comes from. The vineyard has been used to designate the house's top wines since it was classified as Weinlage 1 Klasse in 1867, and it holds the oldest vines on the property, many on their own rootstock. The rocky, high-lying setting of the Kiedricher Berg is what allows the estate to hold natural sweetness, freshness and minerality in balance rather than letting sugar dominate. Picking seldom begins before October and can run for eight to ten weeks, with as many as 40 experienced pickers making up to 17 separate passes through the rows, taking only pristine, shrivelled berries. The wine is then fermented in small, custom-built vats.

Delicious young but among the longest-lived wines made anywhere, improving in bottle for generations; serve at 8–10°C in small glasses with fruit tarts, blue cheese or on its own.
