Rocche Costamagna Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a single cru Barolo from one of La Morra's finest vineyards, made by a house whose vines sit on the hillside itself.

The Rocche dell'Annunziata is a natural amphitheatre cut into the flank of the La Morra ridge above the hamlet of Annunziata, and its combination of calcareous marl, steep slope and eastern exposure has made it one of the most sought after sites in the appellation; it has been recognised as a distinct vineyard for well over a century. Rocche Costamagna is one of the historic estates of La Morra, with holdings on the cru. Nebbiolo is picked by hand, fermented on skins, and then matured in oak and in bottle for the period the DOCG requires, at least three years in total with a minimum of eighteen months in wood.

Serve at around 18°C alongside braised meats, risotto with truffle or well aged Castelmagno; decant young bottles, or cellar for ten years and more.
