Rogers & Rufus Grenache Rosé 2025

Rogers & Rufus Grenache Rosé is a pale, dry rosé made from Barossa Grenache in a style inspired by the south of France.

The label comes from the Hill-Smith family, the people behind Yalumba, who set out to make a Provence-style rosé from Barossa fruit. Grenache has deep roots in the Barossa and, picked early for freshness, it gives delicate, pale wines with plenty of perfume. At 11.5% alcohol this one is light on its feet. Aromas of blood orange, sweet spice, biscuit pastry, rose petal and strawberries and cream, with a touch of tarragon, lead to a bright, silky and textured palate of early-season strawberry and white peach.

Serve it well chilled, straight from the fridge. It suits long lunches, with prawns on the barbecue, salade niçoise, grilled haloumi or charcuterie.
