Running with Bulls Barossa Grenache 2023

Running with Bulls Barossa Grenache is a juicy, perfumed Grenache with a splash of Tempranillo, from South Australia's Barossa.

Grenache has been grown in the Barossa since the 19th century, and the region's warm, dry summers bring out its bright red fruit and spice. This label, created by the Hill-Smith family of Yalumba, takes its cues from Spain, where Garnacha and Tempranillo are often blended, and a little Tempranillo here adds savoury depth. Made in a lighter, silky style, it is bright scarlet in the glass, with rose, cherry, lavender and raspberry aromas and pomegranate, raspberry and rhubarb on the palate.

Give it a light chill, to around 14 to 16 degrees, to keep it bright and lively. Chorizo, lamb skewers, tapas or a mushroom pizza all sit comfortably alongside.
