Saint Clair Origin Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Saint Clair Origin Sauvignon Blanc is a ripe, tropical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, grapefruit and a salty mineral edge.

Marlborough made its name with Sauvignon Blanc, and the Ibbotson family were part of that story, growing grapes in the region from the late 1970s before releasing Saint Clair wines in the 1990s. Bright sunshine and cold nights at the top of the South Island lock in intense aromatics and crisp acidity. The 2025 is pale green, with passionfruit, grapefruit and blackcurrant aromas, a rich, weighty palate with a thread of tropical fruit, and a salty minerality leading to a clean, fresh finish.

Serve it well chilled, and enjoy it young. It is great with goat's cheese salad, grilled whiting, green-lipped mussels or asparagus with hollandaise.
