Saint Clair Pioneer Block 3 Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Saint Clair Pioneer Block 3 Sauvignon Blanc is a pungent, herbaceous single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough.

The Pioneer Block range was set up to bottle the most distinctive of the vineyards the Ibbotson family works across Marlborough, each kept apart from harvest to bottling. Block 3 gives a green, herb-edged style with plenty of zest. The 2025 is pale green, with fresh grapefruit, snow pea and a hint of oyster shell, then blackcurrant and tomato leaf with green herbaceous notes on the palate, and a crisp sea-salt minerality running through to an intense, refreshing finish.

Serve very cold. It loves green flavours, so pair with asparagus, pea and mint risotto, a herby fish dish or sushi.
