Sam Miranda Bolle 2021

Sam Miranda Bolle is a crisp, vintage-dated King Valley sparkling whose name is Italian for bubbles.

Sparkling wine needs fresh acidity, and the cooler, higher parts of the valley, towards the foothills of the Victorian Alps, deliver it when the fruit is picked early. This is the winery's vintage fizz, made crisp and lively for the aperitif hour or the table. Sam, who represents the third generation of an Italian-Australian wine family, set up on his own at Oxley.

Dry and fresh, with lively bubbles and a clean finish. Chill it to 6–8°C and pour it before dinner or with antipasti, fried calamari or soft cheeses.
