Sam Miranda Pinot Noir 2023

Sam Miranda Pinot Noir is a light, fragrant King Valley red made for easy, everyday drinking.

Pinot needs cool conditions to hold on to its perfume, and the vineyards up above the valley floor supply them. The family behind the label made its name in the Riverina before Sam set up his own winery and cellar door at Oxley, in a valley first settled by Italian tobacco growers. This is an affordable, early-drinking style built on bright red fruit and soft tannins, with no heavy oak and no long ageing, so it is ready on release.

Red cherry and strawberry, a soft finish and nothing to get in the way. Try it slightly cool, at 14–16°C, with roast chicken, duck, mushrooms or salmon.
