Sam Miranda Pinot Noir 2025

Sam Miranda Pinot Noir is a light, approachable King Valley red for everyday drinking.

Oxley, in north-east Victoria, is home to the winery and cellar door, set up by Sam after his well-known family had first made their mark in the Riverina. The vineyards climb into higher, cooler country, which is what Pinot needs to keep its perfume. Made to be affordable and ready on release, it relies on bright red fruit and soft tannins, and leaves out heavy oak and extended ageing.

Fragrant, with strawberry and red cherry and a gentle finish. Good with roast chicken, duck, salmon or mushrooms, served a touch cool at 14–16°C.
