Sam Miranda Prosato NV

Sam Miranda Prosato is a pale pink, Prosecco-based sparkling from Victoria's King Valley, made in a fresh, easy rosé style.

Take the valley's calling card, give it a blush of colour, and you have the winery's pink sparkling. It is made in tank, as usual for the style, to keep the fruit fresh and the bubbles lively, and it is designed for easy celebrating, not the cellar. The vineyards run up towards cooler, higher country above Oxley, in a valley Italian families turned from tobacco to grapes.

Softly fruity and dry to off-dry, with lively, persistent bubbles. Serve at 6–8°C as an aperitivo, or with prawns, charcuterie or summer salads.
