Sam Miranda Rosato 2022

Sam Miranda Rosato is a dry, pale Italian-style rosé from Victoria's King Valley, made for drinking well chilled.

The label uses the Italian word for rosé, a nod to the winery's Italian leaning. Red grapes spend only a short time on their skins, just enough for a pale colour, before a cool stainless-steel ferment and early bottling with no oak. The cellar door is at Oxley, in a valley that Italian settlers turned from tobacco to vines.

Crisp and dry, with light red-berry fruit and a savoury finish. Good well chilled (7–9°C) with antipasto, pizza, seafood or a long summer lunch.
