Description

San Salvatore Pian di Stio is a single-vineyard Fiano from the Cilento coast south of Salerno.

The Pian di Stio vineyard sits at around six hundred metres in the Cilento national park, high above the Tyrrhenian Sea, which keeps a southern Italian site cool enough for Fiano to hold its acidity. Fiano is Campania's great white grape, nearly lost by the 1970s before a revival led by a handful of growers. The estate farms organically and the wine is fermented in stainless steel without oak.

Serve at 11 degrees with grilled fish, seafood pasta or roast chicken. It develops over six years.
