Description
Santa Cristina Giardino Rosé Toscana IGT is a fresh, dry Tuscan rosé from the Antinori family's Santa Cristina label.
First made by the Antinori family in 1946, the Santa Cristina wines gained a home of their own in 2006 with a winery near Cortona, the historic hill town in eastern Tuscany not far from Siena and Perugia. The estate looks out over a wide plain on one side and the hill and village on the other. The team works with both native and international grapes, and Giardino brings them together in rosé form: Sangiovese gives freshness and red-fruit character, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah add colour and a little extra weight. The style is pale, dry and refreshing, made to be enjoyed young.
Serve well chilled, around 8 to 10 degrees, as an aperitif or with bruschetta, prosciutto and melon, seafood pasta or a summer salad. Drink it within a year or two of vintage while it is at its freshest.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
