Description
Description
Sella & Mosca Alghero Rosato DOC is a vibrant and contemporary Sardinian rosé from the coastal vineyards of Alghero. Crafted from Sangiovese and Grenache, this is a beautifully balanced rosato that captures Mediterranean freshness with a refined, textural edge.
Its intense orange-pink hue immediately signals character. The nose opens with crisp red apple, peach and ripe strawberry, layered with cherry, violet and a subtle whisper of cool smoke. On the palate, it is elegant yet generous - tart strawberry fruit meets lively acidity, while brief skin contact lends the faintest touch of tannin and a delicate creamy note on the finish. Plush yet fresh, it’s full-flavoured without being heavy, finishing smooth, savoury and quietly persistent.
Perfect as an aperitivo, or paired with light first courses, white meats, grilled vegetables or a long Sardinian-style lunch by the water.

Sella & Mosca is one of Sardinia’s most historic wineries, founded in 1899 near the coastal town of Alghero. The estate is widely recognised for expressing the Mediterranean character of the island through carefully managed vineyards and a focus on regional varieties.
The “Anemone” Rosato reflects the coastal identity of north-west Sardinia, where sea breezes and abundant sunshine create wines with freshness, aromatic lift and balance. Crafted from Grenache and Sangiovese, it offers a modern Sardinian interpretation of rosé—vibrant, textured and effortlessly drinkable.
