Description
Seppelt Drumborg Pinot Meunier is a rare still red made from the Champagne grape Pinot Meunier.
Seppelt has made wine at Great Western in Victoria's Grampians since the 1860s, and its cellars run through kilometres of underground tunnels dug by gold miners. Drumborg, planted by Karl Seppelt in 1964 near Portland in the Henty region, is one of the coolest vineyard sites in mainland Australia. Pinot Meunier is usually blended into sparkling wine; here it is bottled on its own as a light red.
Serve slightly cool, at about 14 degrees, with charcuterie, duck or salmon.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
