Description

Seppelt Jaluka Chardonnay is a cool-climate Chardonnay from the Henty region in far south-west Victoria.

Seppelt has made wine at Great Western in Victoria's Grampians since the 1860s, and its cellars run through kilometres of underground tunnels dug by gold miners. Drumborg, planted by Karl Seppelt in 1964 near Portland in the Henty region, is one of the coolest vineyard sites in mainland Australia. Jaluka draws on fruit from Henty, where the long, cool season gives Chardonnay fine acidity.

Serve at about 11 degrees with grilled fish, chicken or creamy pasta.
