Description

Shadowfax Little Hampton Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard in the Macedon Ranges.

Little Hampton sits in the high country south of Kyneton, where the growing season is among the longest in Australia and the fruit comes in late with firm natural acidity. Keeping the site separate shows what that elevation does to Pinot Noir. Fermentation includes whole bunches, with French oak maturation.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or mushroom dishes. It develops over ten years.
