Sidewood Estate Pinot Gris 2025

Sidewood Estate Pinot Gris is a textural, finely detailed Adelaide Hills white made in the richer Gris style.

The Inglis family's Sidewood vineyards sit in the cool, rolling country around Oakbank, where cold nights and long autumns suit a grape best known from Alsace. Pinot Gris here is picked to hold its freshness while letting the fruit build pear and white nectarine weight, and the wine is made to show a soft, rounded mouthfeel held together by natural acidity. This is the Gris style, which means more texture and generosity than a crisp Grigio, yet at 12.6% alcohol it stays poised and clean, with subtle floral notes adding lift to the stone fruit.

Pour it well chilled with pork dumplings, grilled prawns or a simple roast chicken. Best enjoyed young, while its fruit is at its freshest.
