Sidewood Estate Pinot Gris 2026

Sidewood Estate Pinot Gris is a soft, perfumed Adelaide Hills white with generous pear and peach fruit.

This release comes from the 2026 harvest at Sidewood, the family estate built up by Owen and Cassandra Inglis in the Adelaide Hills. Altitude is the key here: the higher vineyards of the Hills hold onto acidity through ripening, so Pinot Gris can reach juicy stone-fruit ripeness while keeping its energy. The winemaking aims for a supple, polished texture, with a citrus thread (the team likens it to finger lime) lifting the richer peach and pear fruit. Approachable from release, it balances weight with freshness and finishes long and refreshing.

Chill it well and bring it out for a relaxed lunch. Thai-style salads, soft cheeses or pan-fried fish with a squeeze of lemon all suit. Drink it over the next year or two.
