Sidewood Estate Pinot Noir 2024

Sidewood Estate Pinot Noir is an elegant, fleshy Adelaide Hills red with dark cherry depth and a savoury edge.

Grown on the Inglis family's cool-climate vineyards, this 2024 Pinot leans a little darker than some years, adding dark cherry and violet to the wild strawberry that marks the Sidewood style. The winery works to keep the wine silky and fine, so the tannins are delicate and the structure comes from length and drive. Hints of bay leaf, spice and forest floor give it a savoury side. At just 12.3% alcohol, it's a light-footed wine, yet it carries plenty of fleshy red fruit through the palate.

A cool cellar temperature of 14 to 16 degrees suits it best. Match with duck breast, mushroom dishes or roast quail, and enjoy now or over the next few years.
