Sliabh Liag Distillery Santa Ana Armada Strength Maritime Gin is a navy-strength coastal gin from Donegal.

Armada strength is the distillery's own term for a navy-strength bottling, made at higher alcohol so the botanicals keep their shape when the gin is chilled or mixed. It comes from the same small Donegal operation behind the An Dulaman maritime gins, where seaweed foraged along the local shoreline goes into the still alongside a juniper-led base. The name nods to the Spanish Armada ships wrecked on this coast in 1588. Everything here is built around the place, from the foraging to the maritime character in the glass.

Big and salty, with juniper, citrus and a briny, mineral length that survives dilution. Built for mixing: a stiff gin and tonic, a Gimlet with real lime, or a martini with a twist. Add more ice than you think you need.
