Description

Southern Light Vineyards Ghostgum Chardonnay comes from the Yarra Valley, east of Melbourne.

The Yarra is one of Australia's coolest mainland regions and has been its reference point for Chardonnay since the 1980s, with slow ripening that keeps acidity intact at full flavour. The ghost gum lends the wine its name. Fermentation is in barrel with lees ageing and restrained new oak.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a soft cheese. It develops over six years.
