Description

Southern Light Vineyards Lightfall Chardonnay is grown in the Yarra Valley.

The Yarra's range of altitudes and aspects, from the warm valley floor to cool high ground at Gladysdale, gives Chardonnay a spread of ripeness to draw on. The wine is barrel-fermented and matured on lees, in a restrained style built on acidity rather than weight.

Serve at 12 degrees with scallops, roast chicken or a creamy pasta. It develops over six years.
