Description

Spring Seed Cock Cab Cabernet Sauvignon is an organically grown McLaren Vale Cabernet, made to drink early with blackcurrant fruit and some grip.

Gulf St Vincent sits just west of McLaren Vale, and its sea breezes temper a Mediterranean climate that ripens Cabernet reliably. Behind the label are Joch Bosworth and Louise Hemsley-Smith of Battle of Bosworth, who farm organically and keep prices honest. This one is all about the variety's blackcurrant fruit and firm structure, in a style you can open now.

Blackcurrant and mint over fine tannins. Good with lamb chops, beef pies or a hard cheese, served at 16–18°C. It's drinking well already and has the structure for a few more years.
