Spring Seed Poppy Pinot Grigio 2026

Spring Seed Poppy Pinot Grigio is an organically grown McLaren Vale white, picked early and kept light and dry.

Grapes come off organically farmed rows in McLaren Vale, where Joch Bosworth and Louise Hemsley-Smith also run Battle of Bosworth, the older of their two labels. Picking happens while the acidity is still high, and the juice ferments cool in stainless steel to hold that lean, thirst-quenching shape. Every bottle in the range takes a flower for its name, with artwork drawn from an old-fashioned seed packet.

Pear and apple flavours run through to a dry, clean close. Pour it well chilled, around 6–8°C, as an aperitif or next to calamari and a simple green salad. It drinks best in its first year or two.
