Springs Road Terre Napoleon Shiraz 2021

Springs Road Terre Napoleon Shiraz is the producer's premium Kangaroo Island Shiraz, made for depth and longer ageing.

The label's name recalls what the French Baudin expedition called this stretch of southern coast in the early 1800s. It sits above the standard Shiraz in the range. On the island, sea winds and slow, steady ripening keep the fruit fresh, and the small winery works with island-grown grapes.

Concentrated, spicy and firmly structured, so give it time in the glass. Slow-roasted lamb, venison or aged cheddar at 16–18°C suit it, or cellar it for several years.
