Stanton & Killeen Chardonnay 2026

Stanton & Killeen Chardonnay is a crisp, medium-bodied reading of the variety, picked early to keep the citrus drive intact.

Fruit comes off the vineyard in the cool of the morning, then splits between large-format French oak for fermentation and stainless steel for ageing. Extended time on lees adds weight through the middle while the oak sits well back, leaving a hint of hazelnut instead of toast. The site is certified under Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.

Lemon zest and grapefruit lead, lifted by honeysuckle and ripe peach, with a fine nutty note behind them. It is best drunk young and well chilled at 10 to 12 degrees with roast chicken, pork, creamy pasta or grilled whiting, though it will hold for about three years.
