Stanton & Killeen Jack's Block Shiraz 2019

Stanton & Killeen Jack's Block Shiraz is a full-bodied Rutherglen Shiraz from a single estate block, matured in oak.

This one comes from a specific block on the family's estate vineyards, and it sits at the more serious end of their Shiraz. Rutherglen's hot summer days and cool nights give ripe, dark fruit, and time in oak adds polish and structure. The family's roots in the district go back to the nineteenth century.

Dark-fruited and firm, with fine tannins and the stuffing to age for a good few years. Open it at 16–18°C with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, beef short ribs or a wedge of hard cheese.
