Stanton & Killeen Sparkling Tempranillo 2023

Stanton & Killeen Sparkling Tempranillo is a deeply coloured, Australian-style red fizz from Rutherglen.

Sparkling red is a distinctly Australian style with a long history in Victoria, and it's usually made from Shiraz. The family uses the Spanish grape instead, one of the Iberian varieties it has grown for many years. Ripe red wine goes through a secondary fermentation to build the bubbles and a fine mousse.

Frothy and fruit-led with a savoury streak. Serve it well chilled, 8–10°C, with roast turkey or ham, barbecued meats, or on its own as a festive aperitif.
