Stonegarden Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Stonegarden Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied Barossa Cabernet from a historic vineyard on the higher ground towards Eden Valley.

Up on the higher, slightly cooler country of the Barossa, Cabernet Sauvignon tends to show firm structure and dark fruit with more restraint than wines from the valley floor. The vineyard is known for plantings well over a century old, and very old vines give small crops of concentrated fruit. We haven't confirmed the oak regime, but this is a serious red built for the cellar.

Deep and structured, with blackcurrant and firm tannins. Decant it if you're opening it young, then serve at 16–18°C with rib-eye, braised beef or aged cheddar. A few more years in the cellar will do it good.
