Stonegarden Field Blend Grenache 2020

Stonegarden Field Blend Grenache is an old-vine Barossa Grenache from a co-planted vineyard on the rise towards Eden Valley.

In the Barossa's early vineyards it was common to plant several varieties in the same rows and pick and ferment them together. This wine comes from one such old mixed planting, where Grenache dominates. The vines date back well over a century, cropping small amounts of concentrated fruit, and the result is Grenache with extra depth and complexity.

Perfumed and spicy, with red fruit and fine tannins. Serve at 15–17°C with roast lamb, chargrilled meats or a Moroccan tagine, or on its own on a weeknight.
