Stonegarden Field Blend Grenache 2021

Stonegarden Field Blend Grenache is an old-vine Grenache from a traditional co-planted vineyard in the higher Barossa, towards Eden Valley.

Grenache makes up most of this old planting, with other varieties interplanted in the same rows. Everything is harvested and fermented together, the way the Barossa's first vineyards were handled. Century-plus vines give small crops of intensely flavoured fruit, and the estate makes only small quantities.

Raspberry, spice and fine tannins in a perfumed, medium-bodied style. Try it at 15–17°C with roast lamb, pork belly, chargrilled meats or a tagine. Just as good by itself midweek.
