Stonegarden Northwest Grenache 2021

Stonegarden Northwest Grenache is a single-block, old-vine Barossa Grenache from a historic vineyard towards Eden Valley.

Named for its aspect, this is a single section of the vineyard, and the wine is made to show the purity of old Barossa Grenache: bright red fruit, spice and fine, chalky tannins, without heavy extraction. The vines here are well over a century old, and they give small, concentrated crops.

Fragrant and medium-bodied, with red berries and spice. Good with lamb shoulder, roast duck, charcuterie or a mushroom ragù, served at 15–17°C.
