Description

Stonegarden Northwest Grenache is a fragrant, old-vine Grenache from one block of a historic Barossa vineyard.

Some of the plantings on this site, on the higher country towards Eden Valley, go back well over a century. Old vines like these crop lightly, and the fruit is intensely flavoured. This bottling comes from one section, named for the direction it faces, and is made for purity: bright red fruit, spice and chalky tannins, with a light hand on extraction.

Bright raspberry and spice over fine tannins. Pour it at 15–17°C with lamb, roast chicken, charcuterie or eggplant dishes, or enjoy a glass on its own.
