Stonestreet Upper Barn Chardonnay 2019

Stonestreet Upper Barn Chardonnay is a single-block wine from one of the highest sites on the Alexander Mountain Estate.

Upper Barn was planted in the 1970s on a steep slope at around four hundred metres, on shallow, rocky soils that keep yields very low. Blocks at this height sit above the fog and ripen slowly through long, sunny days and cold nights. The wine is barrel-fermented with extended lees ageing and is among the most structured Chardonnays in Sonoma.

Serve at 12 degrees with lobster, veal or a mature cheese. It rewards a decade.
