Description
Stonier Hillcrest Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard wine from one of the oldest sites on the Mornington Peninsula.
The Hillcrest vineyard was planted in the 1980s on red volcanic soil at Merricks, and mature vines on that ground give small crops and concentrated fruit. Bottling it separately shows what a single Peninsula site does with the variety. Fermentation includes whole bunches, with maturation in French oak.
Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or a mushroom tart. It rewards ten years.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
