Description
Tappo Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc sealed under screwcap.
New Zealand has become one of the world's defining sources of Sauvignon Blanc since the variety was first planted widely there in the 1970s and 1980s, with the great majority grown in Marlborough at the north east of the South Island. The country's maritime climate, with long sunny days, cool nights and a lengthy growing season, allows the grape to ripen slowly while holding the high natural acidity that gives the style its freshness. Most New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is fermented cool in stainless steel without oak, to keep the fruit bright and the wine clean and vibrant. Tappo follows that approach, and the wine is sealed under screwcap to preserve its freshness.
Zesty and refreshing, it suits goat's cheese, salads, seafood and Thai dishes; serve well chilled at around 8 degrees.
