Tar & Roses Heathcote Shiraz 2025

Tar & Roses Heathcote Shiraz comes from the ancient Cambrian greenstone soils of central Victoria.

Heathcote sits on a narrow north-south band of red soil weathered from Cambrian greenstone, around half a billion years old, which holds water through a dry summer and gives Shiraz depth with fine tannin. The region has become one of Australia's best for the variety. Tar & Roses ferments in open vessels and matures the wine in French oak.

Serve at 17 degrees with barbecued beef, lamb or a rich stew. Drink over the next ten years.
