Description

Tar & Roses Prosecco is a dry Victorian sparkling made from Glera, the grape behind Italian Prosecco.

Glera was planted in Victoria's King Valley from the late 1990s and has spread since, made the same way as in the Veneto: a second fermentation in pressurised tank rather than bottle, which keeps the wine floral and fresh rather than yeasty. Tar & Roses was founded to work with Italian varieties in Australia.

Serve cold at 7 degrees as an aperitif, or with antipasti and fried food. Drink young.
