Tar & Roses Rosé 2025

Tar & Roses Rosé is a dry Sangiovese rosé from central Victoria.

Sangiovese makes a savoury, cherry-scented rosé in Tuscany and does the same here, where the fruit is picked early specifically for the style rather than bled off a red ferment. The winery's focus on Italian varieties makes it the obvious choice. The juice is pressed straight to tank and fermented cool to keep the wine dry and crisp.

Serve at 9 degrees with antipasti, seafood or a summer lunch. Drink within two years.
