TarraWarra Estate Chardonnay 2024

TarraWarra Estate Chardonnay is a fresh, saline Yarra Valley Chardonnay with citrus drive.

Chardonnay has been central to TarraWarra since its early years, and the Yarra Valley is now one of Australia's benchmark regions for the grape's fine-boned, modern style. The Estate bottling is made from estate-grown fruit with restrained oak, so the freshness of the site leads. The 2024 is pale straw, with citrus, sea spray and white flowers alongside a subtle hint of roasted hazelnut. Just-ripe white nectarine adds grip and texture, slight saline notes run through the palate, and a chalky line gives length and freshness.

Serve chilled but not icy, around 10 degrees. Pair with grilled snapper, roast chicken or crab linguine.
