Description

TarraWarra Estate Eva's View Vineyard Syrah is a single-vineyard, cool-climate Syrah from the Yarra Valley.

Marc and Eva Besen established TarraWarra Estate in 1983 on a large property near Yarra Glen. The vineyards share the land with a nature reserve, cattle, a kitchen garden, a restaurant and the TarraWarra Museum of Art. The estate is best known for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but its hillside plantings also produce Syrah with the spice and medium weight that suit the Yarra Valley's cooler climate. This bottling is drawn from a single site, the Eva's View Vineyard.

Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees with roast lamb, venison or a mushroom ragu. Give it some time in the glass when young.
